Arkana Records was founded by Greg Lanning, a lifelong musician whose passion for music began at just eight years old with a guitar in hand. As a teenager, that passion evolved beyond performance and into the world of recording and production, sparking a fascination with the art and science of capturing great sound. After pursuing a degree in Music Production from Berklee College of Music, Greg continued refining his craft while developing a deep appreciation for the character and musicality of analog recording equipment.

That passion ultimately became the foundation of Arkana Records. Built around carefully selected analog equipment and an uncompromising attention to detail, the studio's approach is centered on bringing recordings to life. Whether tracking a vocal, mixing a song remotely, or preparing a master for release, every project benefits from the depth, clarity, dimension, and warmth that high-end analog gear can provide. Combined with a meticulous ear for detail, the result is music that feels larger, more engaging, and emotionally connected to the listener.
